This role targets vulnerable youth, providing you with an opportunity to implement proactive and community-oriented harm prevention strategies. You’ll identify target populations, deliver life skills training, and coordinate educational programs while maintaining strong relationships with community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute harm prevention and health promotion initiatives
• Build connections with at-risk populations in the community
• Facilitate training sessions and educational outreach
• Provide counseling and life skills development
• Engage with community professionals to deliver services
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social or Behavioral Science
• Minimum two years’ relevant prevention experience
• Valid BC Driver’s License for travel needs
• Strong understanding of health disparities
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively
