Casual Family Support Worker at RainCity

In this casual position, you will provide family-centered support services and collaborate closely with women and their families. Your expertise will guide individuals in assessing their needs, planning services, and monitoring outcomes as part of the Budzey program. You will serve as a key resource in a supportive environment, addressing issues such as mental health, substance use, and family preservation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment of needs and individualized support

• Collaborate with families to plan and monitor outcomes

• Conduct crisis intervention and prevention strategies

• Facilitate health and recreational support groups

• Engage with external service providers and agencies

Requirements:

• Diploma in community social services

• Two years of relevant experience with women and children

• Knowledge of community and provincial resources

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Class 5 driver’s license
