In the role of Women's Support Worker, you will report to the Program Manager, providing essential support aimed at empowering women. Your responsibilities will include offering emotional assistance, housing advocacy, and health care guidance, encouraging a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one emotional support tailored to individual needs
• Help women secure affordable and safe housing solutions
• Assist in food preparation and delivery for residents
• Support medication management and health care access
• Engage in collaborative programming efforts with women
Requirements:
• Must identify as a woman or non-binary individual
• Diploma in social/human services or similar required
• One year relevant experience or equivalent training
• First Aid certificate needed for employment
• Hold valid Food Safe and Crisis Intervention certifications
