Youth and Child Casual Residence Worker

Connective is looking for a dedicated Casual Residence Worker to join their team. This position caters to youth requiring full-time care due to various psychiatric diagnoses and developmental disabilities. You will build relationships, ensuring residents' emotional, social, and medical needs are met, while assisting them with daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop care plans in collaboration with the Program Manager

• Ensure residents follow residency terms and facility rules

• Provide emotional support and feedback to residents and families

• Participate in social, recreational, and educational programs

• Serve as a positive role model, offering life skills training

Requirements:

• Diploma in social services or related field preferred

• One year of relevant experience working with youth

• Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and trauma

• Proven crisis response skills in challenging situations

• Ability to perform First Aid and CPR
