As a part of the Vancouver Housing program, you will work within the Youth Services team, providing direct assistance and support to youth aged 16-25 in semi-independent living homes. Key responsibilities include developing supportive relationships, maintaining program expectations, and liaising with professionals such as social workers.
Your role directly impacts the youth's ability to secure safe and affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop supportive relationships and individualized service plans
• Assist youth with program expectations and engagement
• Maintain accurate case notes on youth progress
• Provide housing search support and advocacy
• Engage collaboratively with the staff team
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-Year Diploma in Child and Youth Care
• 2 years of experience with youth in residential settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of tenant and landlord rights
• Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations
