Reporting to the Children, Youth and Family Services Manager, you will apply a healing-centered, strengths-based approach while facilitating improved social outcomes.
Your role includes crucial partnerships with various stakeholders, allowing you to make a significant contribution to community resilience and stability. Ensure cultural practices are respected and foster a constructive environment for all community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish strong trust with Tsleil-Waututh community members
• Conduct assessments and facilitate case management meetings
• Act as a liaison with child and family service agencies
• Lead interventions and provide advocacy for families in need
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive case documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or related field
• Valid Social Work designation required
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Understanding of First Nations cultural contexts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
