Become an Employment Specialist with Open Door Group, where your mission is to uplift individuals through effective employment programming. This role includes flexible hours based in the Lower Mainland, focusing on personalized support for clients.

As part of this permanent position, you will use your knowledge of IPS-informed models to guide individuals facing mental health challenges towards successful employment.

Your role involves conducting individual assessments and leading group workshops that promote recovery and community connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored employment support plans for clients

• Facilitate engaging workshops for life skills development

• Support clients in job search and retention strategies

• Collaborate with therapists and community partners

• Manage a small caseload for intensive support

Requirements:

• Social Sciences diploma or comparable education

• Three years of related experience in the helping profession

• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Knowledge of employment barriers and career development

• Valid Driver's License with a reliable vehicle
