The Developmental Disabilities Association is searching for dedicated Community Support Workers ready to inspire change. In this role, you’ll develop independence and connection through tailored social and vocational programs. Your commitment will support participants in reaching their goals, ensuring a supportive and conducive environment while participating in community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate activities for personal and social development
• Implement and monitor goal achievement plans
• Lead client-centered programming for diverse abilities
• Engage with the community through outreach services
• Support participants in daily living activities
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant fields
• 1-2 years of experience in community settings
• Knowledge of positive communication strategies
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a good driving record
• Ability to support swim and water activities
