This position directly supports the development of inclusive and engaging activities tailored for youth within the community. The Child and Youth Worker designs educational and recreational programs, ensuring opportunities for growth and skill enhancement. With hours set during school days and temporary full-time options during breaks, this role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create educational and recreational activities for youth
• Ensure inclusive program delivery within the community
• Promote individual growth through tailored activities
• Collaborate with team members to enhance program impact
• Maintain safety and welfare standards in all activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in related studies or certificate
• 1 year experience with youth in recreational settings
• Strong skills in interpersonal communication
• Formal training in counselling and behavior management
• Criminal Record Clearance and First Aid/CPR certification
Support the development of youth and make a lasting impact in the community.
