Tenant Support Worker

Become a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver, BC. Engage with residents, provide essential support, and help them achieve independence every day.

As a full-time Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager and focus on delivering assistance, education, and skills training.

Your role is crucial in helping residents meet their basic needs while fostering a healthier and more stable living environment. You will participate in tenant intakes, develop service plans, and conduct assessments to ensure ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate tenant intakes and provide tailored support services

• Develop service plans and crisis interventions

• Ensure residents' basic needs are met continuously

• Maintain statistical and evaluative data through paperwork

• Supervise volunteers and practicum students on-site

Requirements:

• Diploma in Community Social Service

• Two years related experience or equivalent combination

• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector

• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate

• Food Safe Certificate if required
