Social Worker Coastal Health

In this full-time role, you will conduct psychosocial assessments for clients with complex needs while adhering to the client and family-centered Recovery model. Engage with diverse issues such as domestic violence and housing concerns as a vital part of an interdisciplinary team. With comprehensive knowledge of mental health resources, you will influence positive outcomes for clients through effective communication and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive social and psychosocial assessments

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for client support

• Provide individual, family, and group counselling services

• Attend clinical case conferences for client reviews

• Maintain accurate client records per established standards

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program

• Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers

• Three years of related experience in a psychiatric setting

• Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

• Knowledge of recovery principles and psychosocial rehabilitation
