Leisure Programs Coordinator

Position: Leisure Programs Coordinator - AgeCare
Become a Leisure Programs Coordinator at Age Care Lakeview and design resident-centered recreational activities. This role emphasizes planning, collaboration, and engagement within the community.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Recreation Manager to implement leisure programs that promote social connections and enhance well-being. You'll assess resident participation, maintain documentation, and facilitate community outings, all while nurturing relationships with residents, families, and team members. Your efforts contribute to a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate engaging recreational activities

• Support resident assessments and well-being evaluations

• Maintain documentation of participation and program notes

• Facilitate resident community participation and events

• Prepare daily programs and assist with meal service

Requirements:

• Diploma in Recreation or related studies

• Prior experience in senior care or community recreation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid driver's license for transporting residents
