Program Worker at West Coast Client Support

Empower clients in their recovery journey as a Program Worker with West Coast Client Support Society (WCCSS). This role involves hands-on support, coaching, and resource coordination in a trauma-informed setting.

WCCSS is seeking a Program Worker to enhance the Veterans Housing and Support Program. In this role, you will conduct client orientations, develop Individual Development Plans (IDP), and collaborate with community services. Additionally, you will ensure clients receive essential support while promoting personal growth and goal achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct client orientation and review facility rules

• Assist in creating and monitoring Individual Development Plans

• Facilitate psycho-educational and social activities

• Coordinate with service providers for client needs

• Maintain accurate client records and case notes

Requirements:

• Two years' experience in social work or similar field

• Training in addictions and mental health recovery

• Current First Aid/CPR Certification

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practices

• Ability to handle emotional crises effectively
