Become a transformative force in clients' lives as a Program Worker for the Veterans Housing and Support Program at West Coast Client Support Society. This position emphasizes trauma-informed care and client empowerment for successful reintegration.
WCCSS is looking for dedicated Program Workers to assist clients in personal development and life skills. You will facilitate initial assessments, coordinate medical and educational referrals, and provide ongoing support through personalized coaching. Your contribution is essential to help clients navigate their recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial needs assessments for clients
• Develop and monitor Individual Development Plans
• Supervise client interactions during activities
• Maintain collaboration with community support services
• Document client progress and case notes accurately
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ working with at-risk individuals
• Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
• Experience with complex mental health and addiction issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
