As a dedicated Youth Worker, you'll connect with youth aged 16-24, assessing their needs and providing essential support in our Crisis Program.
Your role requires uplifting and empowering them through trust-based relationships while guiding them on their journey towards becoming healthy adults. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure their immediate and long-term goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome youth and evaluate their immediate needs
• Foster and maintain trusting relationships with youth
• Conduct program orientation and complete intake processes
• Aid youth in goal setting and community connection
• Manage youth case files and documentation
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in social services favored
• Prior experience in youth support is a plus
• Training in First Aid & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic computer skills for documentation tasks
