Connective seeks a compassionate Casual Residence Worker committed to enhancing the lives of children and youth.
Your role will involve addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs while helping them learn essential life skills. This position requires a flexible schedule with mandatory night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
• Ensure compliance with residency rules among residents
• Provide supportive feedback to families and residents
• Coordinate and participate in various therapeutic programs
• Serve as an inspiring role model for skills development
Requirements:
• Diploma in social work or related area is preferable
• Minimum one year’s experience with youth in care
• Understanding of diverse behavioral diagnoses including FASD
• Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and First Aid certification
