As a full-time Employment Specialist, you will provide pre-employment support, educate community organizations, and advocate for diversity in the workplace. Your expertise will guide job seekers and employers in creating effective and inclusive hiring practices, impacting the lives of many.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach adults with disabilities in job searching
• Educate employers on the importance of diverse hiring
• Advocate for clients in vocational settings
• Develop and implement responsive support programs
• Provide transitional support during employment searches
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma preferred
• 1-2 years experience in related roles
• Proficient in adaptive communication methods
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and Crisis Intervention preferred
