Position: Service Coordinator Role at Community Living
Experience growth with the Community Living Society as a Service Coordinator, focusing on skill development for individuals with disabilities. Lead community-based activities that enhance social inclusion and independence.

The Service Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager of Independent Living, will focus on service and housing connections. Responsibilities include actively planning and facilitating programs based on the needs of supported individuals while maintaining relationships with local housing partners.

Your role will facilitate essential learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solicit insights from supported individuals for activity planning

• Review meetings for prioritizing community themes

• Maintain a resource inventory for easy access

• Develop a calendar of engaging activities and events

• Offer support during learning sessions and emergencies

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 4 must be obtained

• Experience facilitating social inclusion activities

• First Aid and CPR Certification

• Clear criminal background (CLS covers costs)

• Reliable vehicle access
