As a Tenant Support Worker, you will help residents enhance their independence and stability, working closely under the direction of the Site Manager. Key responsibilities include conducting tenant intakes, developing service plans, and addressing individual challenges through crisis intervention and support services.
Your role will involve maintaining necessary documentation, supporting volunteers, and staying alert during shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and ongoing assessments
• Develop service plans for individual tenant needs
• Ensure basic needs are met through support services
• Maintain statistical and evaluative data effectively
• Assist with mentoring volunteers on site
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• Two years related experience or equivalent qualifications
• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
• OFA 1 First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of mental health and trauma-informed practices
