Community Support Specialist at UGM

In this permanent position, you will engage people with respect, focus on their needs, and connect them to vital resources like housing and recovery programs. Working 22.5 hours each week from Saturday to Monday, you’ll earn between $26.26 to $28.70 per hour, actively participating in community engagement and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Model Christ’s teachings through your actions
• Offer spiritual guidance and internal referrals
• Foster connections through a visible community presence
• Monitor client safety during service access
• Maintain accurate records and perform administrative duties
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant community work experience
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with diverse community needs
• Independent problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in crisis situations
