Empower newcomers as an Arabic-speaking Housing Case Manager with ISSofBC in Vancouver and Surrey, working in the Resettlement Assistance Program. This in-office position focuses on stable housing solutions.
In this impactful role, you will assist newly arrived refugees by coordinating housing searches and providing market insights. Your responsibilities include presenting suitable housing options and accompanying clients on visits, all while fostering an environment of belonging and independence through strong community connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee housing search for GAR clients
• Deliver group and individual market orientation
• Source and present housing alternatives to clients
• Conduct property inspections for safety compliance
• Arrange for necessary essentials to support clients
Requirements:
• Diploma in social services with relevant experience
• At least one year in settlement services
• Bilingual in Arabic and English essential
• Flexibility to work with high-need clients
• Ongoing Clear Criminal Record Check required
