In the Sanctuary Program, Covenant House Vancouver is seeking Youth Support Workers to assist vulnerable individuals aged 16-24. This role emphasizes engagement in a low-barrier setting, where you will help youth manage their health, emotional needs, and personal goals. Expect to tackle the complexities of trauma while contributing to each young person's journey toward stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet youth and assess their needs

• Maintain supportive, judgment-free relationships

• Conduct program orientation and intake processes

• Respond to crisis situations and provide first aid

• Document all client interactions and notes

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a related field required

• Minimum one year experience in a similar environment

• Knowledge of youth homelessness issues

• Strong interpersonal and situational awareness skills

• Ability to physically assist youth as needed
