In this critical position, you will create individualized service plans and connect youth with housing resources and income assistance. The shelter coordinator will partner with community stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for vulnerable youth facing homelessness. A flexible work schedule promotes a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop service plans for youth accessing shelter services
• Coordinate with local organizations for housing and assistance
• Facilitate youth referrals to vital support programs
• Monitor and address youth needs effectively
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for participants
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Social Work or Youth Care
• Minimum three years of experience with at-risk youth
• Current First Aid certificate required
• Knowledge of adolescent development and harm reduction
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
