Responsibilities- Work with analysts, understand requirements, and develop technical specifications for ETLs.
- Implement efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data.
- Promote strategies to improve data modelling, quality, and architecture.
- Work with big data solutions, ETL pipelines and dashboard tools.
- 4+ years experience in data engineering with a degree in a quantitative field.
- 1+ year experience working with on‑prem solutions like SQL Server.
- 4+ years experience in SQL and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
- 3+ years experience in data modelling, ETL, and warehousing.
- 3+ years experience with Python, Airflow, and version control (Git Hub/Git Lab).
- Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Kafka or other data streaming technologies.
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors.
- British Columbia – $119,600 – $167,300 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees.
