Orica Digital Solutions is a global technology business specializing in mining and civil infrastructure markets. We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer with a focus on .Net MAUI and Flutter to support IoT applications that have real‑world impacts on people’s safety, productivity of large and small businesses, and our environment.

This role is ideal for a mobile developer proficient in .Net MAUI and open to exploring other technologies.

Role Dimensions: Hybrid work schedule based in Vancouver, Canada office.

• Develop and maintain a cross‑platform, globally deployed MAUI iOS and Android phone app to configure and use low power IoT devices
• Develop new app functionality in a cross‑platform Flutter app
• Improve reliability of BLE comms and networking in poor connectivity conditions
• Implement support for new device models
• Resolve bugs and escalation level customer issues

• 3+ years minimum experience with .Net MAUI 6 or higher
• Proven experience building non‑gaming mobile apps
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Understanding of software design patterns
• College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geomatics or a related field
• A combination of education and experience will be considered

• Experience with Bluetooth (BLE) on iOS, Android or cross‑platform frameworks
• Experience with SQLite
• Understanding of OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC)

This is a hybrid location‑based role with the office located in Vancouver, British Columbia. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience and a full benefits package.

• $95,000 - $125,000 CAD annually
