Software Engineer Co-op UFC Summer

Overview

Software Engineer Co-op (CANADA - UFC - 4 Month & 8 Month Term Available) role at EA SPORTS. Two co-ops (one 4-month and one 8-month term) to join the UFC team, reporting to a Senior Software Engineer. You will work on an intimate team and contribute to feature work and tech initiatives while being trained on the game development process within EA and UFC's team.

• You will develop features for a cross-platform game.
• You will follow best practices to maximize game performance across multiple devices and platforms.
• You will write C/C++ code to ship with the game.

• You must be available for a full-time paid internship from either May 11 - August 28, 2026 (4-months) or May 11 - December 18, 2026 (8-months).
• You must be enrolled in an accredited program in a related field.
• You must be returning to school for at least one semester following your work term with EA.
• You are familiar with C++.
• Please apply with as many examples of any projects/games/tools you ve had major contributions to.

We are only considering students who can work in Canada, will be enrolled in an accredited degree program throughout this co-op and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term with us. You must be legally authorised to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 4 or 8 month term. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant factors including degree type, stage in your degree journey, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.

PAY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $65,000 - $70,000 CAD

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation  also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and retirement savings.
