** About the Role
** We are seeking highly skilled Principal Full Stack Engineers to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. This role is crucial in implementing tooling strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring our AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack. Your technical contributions and team-first attitude will play a key role in delivering high-impact products that scale our AI capabilities and help global organizations simplify complex business processes.

You will:
* Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver AI-powered agents that integrate deeply into HR and Financial workflows, accelerating intelligent decision making.
* Participate in a supportive, iterative team culture that values curiosity, learning, and strong engineering practices
* Contribute to the growth and success of your teammates through knowledge sharing and mentorship
* Take ownership of multiple functional areas in our platform — from development to production (“you build it, you run it”)
** About You
**** Basic Qualification
*** 12+ years of experience in software engineering
* 7+ years experience with a web development framework (Python preferred: Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
* 5+ years of experience with React and Typescript for Front End / Full stack development
* 8+ years with a Relational DB (Postgre
SQL preferred)
* Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
** Other Qualification
*** Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
* Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
* Knowledge of software development best practices (Dev Ops, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
* Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Familiarity with Elasticsearch
* Experience working within fast-paced, agile environments and multi-functional teams
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex problems into clear, thoughtful solutions
