Ruby on Rails Developer

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Ruby on Rails Developer in Vancouver, Canada
. Build and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, powering revenue-critical SaaS products for enterprise clients at APPIT Software in Vancouver.

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails 7+
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications
• Write database migrations and optimize Active Record queries
• Implement background jobs with Sidekiq
• Write RSpec tests and maintain test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming

• 3-5 years of Ruby on Rails development experience
• Strong Ruby programming skills
• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and Active Record
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo)
• Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest)
• Understanding of web application security

• Experience with Rails engines and modular monolith
• Knowledge of Graph
  
  QL with Rails
• Experience with Kamal for deployment
