Senior Frontend Developer

Job Description

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a six month contract. We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to support the development of modern digital platforms leveraging Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore AI, Next.js, and React.js. This role will work closely with Product Owners, UX teams, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, AI-enabled digital experiences.

The successful candidate will contribute to a modern headless architecture environment and support enterprise-scale web initiatives within an Agile and Dev Ops-driven team.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build and support solutions integrated with Sitecore XM Cloud and related services
• Develop reusable, component-based UI architectures aligned with headless and composable principles
• Collaborate with UX and design teams to implement shared design system components
• Implement:
• Server-side rendering (SSR)
• Static site generation (SSG)
• Edge-rendering strategies
• Integrate front-end applications with:
• APIs
• GraphQL
• REST services
• Personalization platforms
• Develop responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized user experiences
• Apply SEO, web performance, and modern JavaScript best practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
• Troubleshoot front-end issues across browsers and devices
• Work closely with distributed global teams

• 8–10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of Sitecore experience, preferably in:
• Headless implementations
• XM Cloud environments
• Strong experience with:
• React.js
• Next.js
• Experience building enterprise-scale and multi-lingual web applications
• Experience with shared design systems or component libraries
