As a Core Engineer, you will collaborate closely with designers, producers, and engineers to build core features and optimize game performance. With a solid background in software engineering, you will contribute innovative solutions and impose best practices throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement core systems in C++ code
• Partner with teams to solve in-game technical challenges
• Produce technical design documents detailing software needs
• Optimize game client systems for performance and efficiency
• Debug software issues and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Over 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficient in modern C++, familiar with IDEs like Visual Studio
• Experience with performance debugging tools and code management workflows
• Excellent collaboration skills for working in diverse teams
