Arista is seeking experienced engineers to support its Packet Forwarding Engines and System software development team. Your expertise in C, C++, and Python will be pivotal as you focus on hardware management and software solutions for ASIC-based networking. You will contribute to the design and delivery of key component software while collaborating with hardware and support teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement specifications for software features
• Debug and test hardware component interactions
• Assist Customer Support Engineers in troubleshooting
• Mentor new engineers on best practices
• Create and maintain project schedules and updates
Requirements:
• MS in Computer Science or related +6 years experience
• Strong programming skills in C and C++
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
• Understanding of packet forwarding and distributed systems
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving
