- Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed systems that power the ODB@AWS service

Own end‑to‑end feature delivery from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product management, database engineers, and partner teams across AWS

Contribute to system architecture decisions and drive technical excellence through code reviews, design documents, and best practices

Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar for the team

Base salary range:  -  CAD annually (plus sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, and other compensation elements)

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
