Position: Technical Director of Gameplay at 2K Sports Lab
Take charge of gameplay engineering at 2K Sports Lab as Technical Director. Lead innovative game development and set high standards for quality across our future sports titles.

Located in Vancouver, BC, the Gameplay Technical Director will oversee a dedicated team focused on creating groundbreaking sports interactive entertainment experiences. This role demands a blend of strong leadership and technical prowess in Animation, AI, and Systems engineering, driving successful project execution and fostering creativity. You’ll ensure that the technology supports our ambitious game design vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Gameplay Engineering team

• Set and manage priorities for Gameplay Systems development

• Build and refine technology for gameplay requirements

• Ensure code quality with rigorous practices

• Advise on challenges while enhancing game design

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 7+ years in the game development industry

• Leadership experience in gameplay engineering preferred

• Proven ability in multi-platform project development

• Deep knowledge of C++ and architectural design
