Software Engineering Manager

Software Engineering Manager - Vancouver, Canada (Hybrid) - Up to $180K + Bonus + Equity

Together We Tech  is hiring a Software Engineering Manager at a global technology company that builds advanced video security, AI, and software platforms to help protect people, property, and places.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing Scrum team focused on large-scale software applications for on-premises video security products. You will manage, mentor, and support a team of engineers while staying close enough to the technology to guide system design, code quality, architecture discussions, and delivery.

• Experience managing software engineering teams of around 8 to 10 engineers
• Strong technical background, ideally with previous hands‑on experience in C++ or C#
• Ability to understand code, system design, and architecture discussions
• Experience leading Scrum teams in an Agile engineering environment
• Strong people management, mentoring, and performance coaching skills
• Ability to partner closely with architects and senior developers on code quality
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure would be beneficial
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops, or CI/CD environments would be a plus
• Comfortable balancing people leadership with technical accountability
