Agoda is searching for a Senior Android Software Engineer in Bangkok to spearhead innovative app projects and enhance mobile developer experience. Lead by example in testing and optimization strategies.
Within the App platform team, you will utilize your extensive engineering background to design, develop, and improve Android applications. With over 8 years of experience, you will guide technical direction while leveraging your expertise in CI/CD processes and app performance. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate needs into actionable development plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Android application design and integration with core services
• Drive improvements in CI/CD and developer velocity
• Collaborate across teams for cohesive user experiences
• Implement automated testing strategies for quality assurance
• Mentor and provide feedback to engineering team members
Requirements:
• 8+ years in software development, focusing on large-scale apps
• 3+ years in a leadership or Tech Lead role
• Proficient in app development frameworks and architecture
• Experience with observability for app performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
