Join Route 53 Domains as a Software Development Engineer, working at the forefront of domain registration services within Amazon Web Services. Focus on backend services and operational excellence as part of a dedicated team.
You will be responsible for developing and operating vital backend services that ensure the reliability and scalability of domain management for millions of customers. In addition to collaborating with diverse engineering teams, you’ll play a key role in code reviews and resolving production issues while maintaining a commitment to best practices in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate backend services in a production environment
• Ensure system design and contribute to code reviews
• Resolve production issues and manage on-call rotations
• Write automated tests and uphold CI/CD standards
• Work with various cross-functional teams across AWS
Requirements:
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years in design or architecture of systems
• Experience programming with Java, C++, or C#
• Knowledge in object-oriented system design
• Understanding of software development life cycle
