LayerZero Engineering Manager - Backend Focus

In this role, you’ll leverage at least six years of backend engineering expertise coupled with leadership that spans a minimum of two years. Your hands-on approach will keep you engaged with the team, tackling distributed systems challenges while maintaining high standards for code quality. Building and nurturing your team, you'll ensure alignment and collective ownership of tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage directly in backend problem-solving with your team

• Oversee architecture and design reviews to set technical direction

• Recruit and mentor backend engineers effectively

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement engineering roadmaps

• Anticipate and mitigate blockers in engineering processes

Requirements:

• Proven backend engineering experience of 6+ years

• 2+ years of team leadership in production-critical environments

• Strong background in distributed systems design

• Proficient in Type Script and AWS

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies is beneficial
