Join Epic Games as a Gameplay Programming Lead, driving innovation in collaboration with Disney. Lead a talented team in developing core gameplay features to create memorable gaming experiences.
As a leader on this small team, you'll play a critical role in shaping both technical direction and player engagement. Your responsibilities will include guiding the programming team and collaborating with design and art to bring gameplay concepts to life. You will also tackle optimization tasks and contribute your ideas to enhance production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion core gameplay feature development and player experience
• Lead and mentor the programming team effectively
• Collaborate on iterative design and gameplay features
• Contribute to ongoing development with Unreal Engine
• Optimize and debug existing code effectively
Requirements:
• Experience leading programming teams in game development
• Strong background in interactive real-time technology
• In-depth C++ knowledge and gameplay systems expertise
• Analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of Verse and Unreal Editor is a plus
