Position: Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Arts
As a Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Arts, you will foster engineering excellence while mentoring team members in a hybrid remote/in-office environment. Drive innovative solutions with expertise in Java and Golang.

In this role, you will report to the Sr. Engineering Director and play a vital part in leading the technical design of our distributed backend service. With over nine years of software engineering experience, you will focus on building server-side systems and addressing technical debt through collaboration and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture of critical components and features

• Develop scalable server-side systems within the Digital Platform

• Collaborate with product managers to enhance legacy systems

• Understand customer needs and prioritize feature deliveries

• Engage in hands-on coding for 40-60% of the time

Requirements:

• 9+ years in software engineering

• Proficient in Java, Golang, and Kafka

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Familiar with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies

• Mentorship experience within engineering teams
