Position: Senior Risk Software Engineer at Coinbase

In this role, you’ll take leadership in developing robust risk detection solutions while ensuring operational excellence. Collaborating with multiple teams such as Product and Compliance, you will drive significant architectural decisions and enhance workflows using AI technologies. Mentoring fellow engineers will also be a key aspect of your contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement risk platform features end-to-end

• Influence architectural decisions for scalable solutions

• Partner with teams for proactive risk management

• Develop AI-driven systems to minimize manual tasks

• Conduct mentorship and code reviews for team development

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend software experience

• Proficient in programming languages:
Go, Ruby, Python, or Java

• Experience with distributed system designs

• Proven track record of end-to-end project leadership

• Knowledge in incident response and operational metrics
