Internationalization Software Engineer

Position: Internationalization Software Engineer Role

This role focuses on improving the user experience for input tools at Apple, including Keyboard and Dictation functionalities. You will be involved in designing solutions that resonate with users from diverse backgrounds. Collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams, you will tackle engineering challenges to deliver impactful results for Apple customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Input Methods for numerous languages like Japanese and Tamil

• Develop Keyboard Layouts for more than 100 languages

• Pioneer user experience integration with Apple technologies

• Partner with Accessibility, Hardware, and Human Interface teams

• Engage with the internationalization community, including open-source contributions

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years software engineering experience

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Competent in C-like programming languages

• Strong grasp of coding standards and testing

• Interest in language effects and software improvement
