AI Center Scientist

Position: AI Center Scientist at Amazon
Lead the charge in AI innovation as an Applied Scientist at Amazon’s AI Center of Excellence. Develop, validate, and scale AI/ML primitives to enhance productivity across enterprises.

In this pivotal role, you will research pressing issues, design robust experiments, and produce cutting-edge solutions ready for real-world applications. Your collaboration with product teams will ensure that AI contributions deliver measurable value, driving forward both AI and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute rigorous experiments for AI primitives

• Collaborate closely with MLEs for scalable solutions

• Drive the scientific rigor and innovation of AICE projects

• Validate performance and robustness of developed primitives

• Share findings and elevate the scientific standard across teams

Requirements:

• PhD in relevant technical discipline

• Experience with programming languages, notably Python

• Familiarity with software development practices

• Proven skills in A/B testing and evaluation methodologies

• Background in statistical analysis and model evaluation
