Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end testing of web applications and APIs, including functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing to ensure system quality and stability.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases to continuously improve test coverage.
- Lead or contribute to building automated testing frameworks (API automation, E2E automation).
- Write test scripts and develop testing utilities using Python to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Perform API testing (REST / GraphQL) and validate business logic and data integrity.
- Manage and track defects; collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Set up and maintain test environments; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams; participate in requirement reviews and identify quality risks early.
- Analyze production issues and logs to continuously optimize testing strategies and the overall quality system.
- Bachelor’s degree or above (CS or related fields preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of software testing experience, preferably in web or internet application environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python with the ability to write test scripts and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as pytest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, httpx) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Notion, Trello).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and responsible.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) — the engineering team primarily communicates in Mandarin.
- Front-end or back-end development experience; ability to read and debug code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) and automated test integration.
- Performance/load testing experience (Locust, JMeter).
- Experience testing microservices or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (Grafana, Loki).
- Ability to independently design test strategies and drive quality improvements.
- Competitive base salary (range is open and flexible based on candidate caliber).
