Join Hiive as an Engineering Manager, Product, leading two dynamic engineering teams. Oversee technical direction, people leadership, and drive project delivery while contributing hands-on.
At Hiive, you’ll manage Engineering Leads and individual contributors while shaping the technical landscape. Emphasis is on people development through performance reviews and expanding their roles. You’ll collaborate with directors for prioritization and maintain team effectiveness amidst growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor two product engineering teams
• Shape technical direction alongside Engineering Leads
• Partner with Directors for team development
• Drive disciplined project prioritization
• Assess team effectiveness and translate insights into action
Requirements:
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• 3+ years of formal management track record
• Proficiency in Elixir, Ruby, or Typescript
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders
• Recent experience with AI coding tools
Cultivate leadership and technical skills at Hiive while advancing innovative AI-native engineering practices.
