Position: Sony Pictures Associate Technical Director Role
Support artists and their workflows at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Vancouver, as an Associate Technical Director. Emphasize technical proficiency in Python and Nuke alongside collaborative problem-solving.

This is a full-time, project-based role aimed at enhancing the compositing and 2D pipeline for production. You will be pivotal in developing tools that improve artist workflows and addressing technical challenges that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain production tools in Python and Nuke

• Troubleshoot and enhance compositing workflows

• Document processes and assist new hire training

• Streamline pipelining and asset management systems

• Identify and improve workflow inefficiencies

Requirements:

• Proven Python and Nuke scripting experience

• Familiarity with shell scripting in Linux

• Knowledge of version control like Git

• Strong collaborative and communication skills

• Organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
