Software Development Manager, Monetization

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand challenges, advocate for pragmatic yet sustainable solutions, craft a roadmap for your team, and drive solutions from start to finish while coordinating with impacted parts of the organization.
• Continuously evolve how your team leverages AI and apply it at every step of the project and development lifecycle.
• Design good technical solutions by teaching, coaching, collaborating, and providing feedback to produce solid architecture documents, plans, and code.
• Actively participate as a contributor to projects and the system (requirements, design, implementation, review).
• Craft effective 1:1s with direct reports to support their career growth and development goals.
• Grow and strengthen Clio’s engineering team by actively participating in interviewing and hiring.

• Demonstrated success in people leadership in software development, particularly with large-scale SaaS products.
• A strong background in hands-on software development.
• Proven ability to align a wide group of people with varying needs on pragmatic solutions.
• History of successfully building clarity and understanding for non-technical stakeholders through written and verbal communication.
• Diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to describe successful projects you worked on, as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects.
• Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
