Clio is searching for a Senior Software Engineer, AI to join the Knowledge Extraction Team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing systems for processing large volumes of legal data. This senior position involves hands-on leadership, crafting AI-driven solutions, and collaborating with various teams to address complex legal data challenges. You will manage the end-to-end development of systems from implementation to monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build backend services to extract and classify legal document information
• Operate LLM workflows and improve model accuracy
• Analyze model performance with large data sets
• Ensure security standards in cloud services
• Mentor junior engineers to enhance team capabilities
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering and AI experience
• Strong Python programming skills;
Ruby is beneficial
• Proficient in handling semi-structured data types
• Experience with AWS services and CI/CD practices
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
