Position: Pre-Production Technical Director Role - Animation
Transform the animation pipeline at Netflix Animation Studios as a Pre-Production Technical Director. This role merges technical expertise with creative support to enhance artist workflows in a hybrid model.

As a Pre-Production Technical Director in Vancouver, you will ensure that the pre-production technology and tools align with creative objectives. You will guide other Technical Directors and collaborate closely with software engineers to execute key initiatives. Your engineering background will be crucial in maintaining high coding standards and troubleshooting complex production challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Suggest technologies to meet visual production requirements

• Guide teams in resolving technical challenges

• Design and implement high-quality production tools

• Lead QA and testing of new software releases

• Optimize workflows for production efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience in large-scale animated productions

• Strong expertise in Python; knowledge of C++ a plus

• Education in Animation, Film, or related field

• Familiarity with agile software development and Jira

• Experience with production tracking software like Shot Grid
