Position: C++ Software Engineer with Wenco
Join Wenco International Mining Systems as a C++ Software Engineer and contribute to innovative fleet management solutions. This role focuses on legacy extraction while using modern technologies in a hybrid work environment.

As part of a new team in Richmond, B.C., you will work on a critical fleet management system, emphasizing the modernization and safe extraction of existing functionalities. Candidates should possess strong coding skills and a solid understanding of systems architecture to facilitate efficient software design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refactor C++ codebase for modernization

• Define high-level system architecture and APIs

• Develop modern services using Kubernetes and React

• Ensure robust deployment and release procedures

• Write comprehensive tests for software quality

Requirements:

• Over 5 years’ experience in production systems

• Strong knowledge of C++ and additional languages

• Skilled in software architecture and design

• Proven track record of project ownership
