Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a dynamic, delivery-focused Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team
• Our SaaS platform integrates directly with major partner banks
• Because of this, our team operates at the intersection of product engineering and high‑stakes client delivery
• We need a leader who has an engineering background, solid project management skills, and thrives under the healthy pressure of client‑facing timelines and revenue‑linked milestones
• As a hands‑on leader, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of key projects, ensuring your team produces high‑quality, scalable, and robust software solutions
• You will work closely with partner banks, product teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, secure, and timely platform integrations
• You manage client‑facing expectations, navigate shifting bank requirements, and ensure we meet revenue‑impacting integration deadlines

• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects and owning product or platform features
• Previous experience in Fin Tech, payments, or with accounting/ERP systems is a strong asset
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of total industry experience
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka
• A growth mindset with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, stakeholders, and other cross‑functional partners
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of 4-8 engineers
